He leads on the development of the digital, data and technology profession, as well as initiatives for building digital skills and increasing diversity across the Scottish public sector. He’s also Programme Director for the Scottish Digital Academy, providing training to public sector staff in Scotland.

Chris Owen

Chris is experienced in delivering digital public services at a local and national level. After spending 14 years developing digital services at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Chris joined the Welsh Government to lead the delivery of Hwb, a digital learning platform for Wales. In 2021, Chris rejoined Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council as Chief Digital Officer, where he’s championing the innovative use of digital, data and technology to transform the public and staff’s user experience.

Ignacia is a service design specialist with experience in the public and private sector. She is experienced in developing service communities, having designed complex services to support users through Brexit and COVID-19. She is also passionate about designing accessible services and creating diverse teams.

Dr Hushneara Miah

Advisor

Hushneara is a subject-matter expert in sustainable procurement and supply chain management with a focus on low carbon. She is the director of the Centre for Sustainability, which she established to be a catalyst in areas such as supply chain management, the circular economy, net zero and carbon literacy.

Heledd Evans

Heledd is a digital manager at Natural Resources Wales, leading a team of translators and design and digital experts. She has experience in communications and managing bilingual digital services in the Welsh public sector.

Andy Adams MBE

Advisor

Andy is a former chief superintendent with Gwent Police who has led on law enforcement technology across the UK and Europe and is a prominent member of the emergency services community. Andy has led on change and joint venture projects in the private and public sector and supports senior leaders in those areas.

Ashley Bale

Ashley developed the first supported living SMART housing for adults with learning disabilities in the UK. He runs tech4good Cardiff, a community interested in technology for positive social impact. He has experience in providing support to adults with disabilities and is passionate about digital inclusion.

Sam is a Digital Programme Consultant at Cwmpas. Her background has been in software as a service (SaaS) working across several sectors, most recently in digital project management in local government. Sam’s passion is around digital skills and inclusion and has delivered several interventions in these areas. Sam has recently been appointed on a secondment as a Media Literacy Officer delivering a research project around media literacy.
