Jack is the Head of Technology and the service owner for the Digital Service Standards for Wales.

Jack provides technical support to partners, ensures standards are relevant to services, and helps service owners make informed decisions about technology to meet user needs.

At CDPS, we're not driven by technology, but understanding its potential can improve services. Jack helps the Welsh public sector find and confidently make technology choices.

Joanna works closely across all projects and services to ensure users are at the heart of design and decision-making.

Jo supports the Welsh public sector to connect with the people who use their services to ensure services meet the needs of users and the needs of the business.

Peter Thomas

Peter Thomas

Head of Skills and Capability

Peter leads the learn digital skills service to build digital transformation skills and confidence of staff in existing roles and support those who want to move into Welsh digital public services.

He works with others to develop a digital workforce strategy and support practical measures to create a pipeline of skilled professionals with the goal of reducing digital skills gaps, build a shared understanding of digital transformation and user-centred design, upskill existing Welsh public sector employees new to digital, and attract talent into digital roles in Wales.

Edwina leads the communications team who work across all our service teams including, standards, training, events and delivery as well as our internal operations.

Edwina’s team are here to support the Welsh public sector to work in the open, tell the story about the benefits of working in an Agile way (and showing what good looks like), and helping them to make mutually beneficial connections through our events and communities of practice.

Ben is a software engineer and entrepreneur. He’s co-founder of Haplo, a platform for rapid delivery of digital services, and led a technology team that used it to transform administration of research at universities across the world. His professional interests are digital transformation, information security and diversity and inclusion within the technology industry.

Neil Prior

Neil was elected as Independent County Councillor in Pembrokeshire County Council in 2017 and re-elected in 2022. As a Cabinet Member, he is responsible for Corporate Improvement and Communities. Helping to lead the council’s improvement programme, he secured significant investment in technology innovation. In Neil’s professional career, he’s worked for blue chip technology organisations, as well as consulting within the public sector.

Andrea Gale

Andrea is the Director of Digital and Business Change at Linc Cymru. Her experience in the housing sector includes strategic planning, business development and service design. Andrea is an advocate for digital services to support equality of opportunity within Wales and the nation’s economic success.

John-Mark (known as JM) is Head of Transformation at the BBC, with a background at the Civil Service, including large-scale operational delivery and transformation roles at Companies House and the Department for Work and Pensions.
