This course is currently in early iteration stage, so we are limiting our first cohorts to those in digital and service transformation teams.

This course is free for those who work in the Welsh public sector delivering devolved services.

Course outcomes

This course will help you to:

  • uncover user needs
  • moderate a usability test
  • plan research within an Agile framework
  • interpret data from field research to create a journey map
  • identify and prioritise tasks into usability testing
  • interpret user research

How you will learn

  • Currently delivered in English – please get in touch if you have Welsh language requirements.
  • Delivered live on Microsoft Teams with supporting materials and activities on Google Classroom – a Google Account will be required to participate.
  • 9 three-hour sessions (27 hours of live training in total).
  • 12 individuals in each session.
  • In-session activities to help you in your learning.
  • Some homework between sessions.
  • Follow up after the course ends to see how learning has been used.

Our courses are changing – in response to demand, we are introducing asynchronous training through Google Classroom to complement our existing offerings. You will have the flexibility to manage your own learning with the support and resources provided by our trainers.
