Who this community is for
- Communication professionals who support people delivering in public services.
- Communication and engagement managers.
- Communication officers.
In a typical meeting, we might:
- discuss how to communicate digital change by writing weeknotes, writing blog posts, holding show and tells and working in the open
- have a guest speaker to talk about a specialist topic
- discuss ways we can support others, specifically digital teams, to share what they are working on
- encourage attendees to bring a challenge they are facing to solve it as a group
Read these tips for working in the open to help deliver better public services.
How we meet
The group meets on Microsoft Teams on the third Wednesday of every month at 12pm.
You’ll be sent calendar invites to the meetups once you join.
Culture
Members of the community should always treat each other with respect and be:
- kind
- understanding
- constructive
- helpful
- supportive
We don’t record our regular virtual meetings.
It is a safe space for you to openly discuss your challenges.
Members should respect that others may be sharing problems in confidence.
If we choose, as a community, to share what we have been discussing, we won’t talk about who said what.
