Our vision
The Centre for Digital Public Services (CDPS) was established in 2020 as an arms-length body of Welsh Government to help deliver the Digital Strategy for Wales, with a focus on Mission 1: digital services.
We support people, teams and organisations to create sustainable digital transformation, and make public services:
- designed around the people who use them
- simple, secure, and convenient
- accessible, inclusive, and cost-effective
By applying user-centred design and agile ways of working, we help teams build public services that work for everyone in Wales.

Our strategy
Our 3-year strategic plan (2023 to 2026) sets out 6 priorities to strengthen digital public services in Wales:
- influence the digital agenda for Wales
- work with organisations to do things differently
- grow modern (digital, data and technology) capability and skills in the Welsh public sector
- embed standards and guidance
- develop shared products and services
- run a great CDPS
Governance reporting
We’re committed to good governance, transparency and accountability in delivering better digital public services in Wales. For this reason, we publish:
- reports showing our progress, impact, and key achievements
- board minutes and committee reports detailing key discussions and decisions
